3. Processing purposes
We may process your data to provide and maintain the platform, create and manage accounts, display jobs and candidates, process applications, enable communication between employers and candidates, send alerts and recommendations, process payments, improve platform quality, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce policies, provide support, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
4. Legal bases
We process data based on consent, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in providing and improving the services, and compliance with legal or regulatory obligations.
5. Data recipients

6. Candidate profile visibility
Candidates can choose visibility settings. Depending on the setting, a profile may be private, visible to authenticated or approved employers, or public in the candidate directory. A public profile may include name, location, role preferences, professional experience, skills, availability, work preferences, and optional video. Candidates can change visibility at any time.
7. Consent for public profile
When locdemunca.ro relies on consent to display a public profile, candidates can withdraw consent by changing visibility settings. If public visibility is disabled, locdemunca.ro will no longer display the public profile. Search engines and third-party sites may need additional time to update cached content.
8. Video profiles
Candidates may upload introductory videos. Uploading video is optional. The video may be displayed to employers or the public depending on the candidate's visibility settings. Candidates should not include sensitive information in video, such as passport details, identity numbers, home addresses, bank details, medical information, or family details.
9. Candidate data shared with employers
When a candidate applies to a job, responds to an employer, or makes a profile visible to employers, locdemunca.ro may share relevant profile and application information with that employer for recruiting purposes. Employers must use candidate data only for legitimate recruiting purposes.
10. Sensitive information
Candidates should not upload or publish sensitive information unless required for a lawful recruiting purpose through a secure process. locdemunca.ro may remove or redact sensitive information from public fields to protect users.
11. Matching and recommendations
locdemunca.ro may use profile information, job preferences, availability, preferred locations, work authorization, application activity, and role interests to suggest jobs or candidates. Hiring decisions are made by employers, not by locdemunca.ro.
12. Data transfers
We may transfer personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area when necessary, using appropriate safeguards under GDPR.
13. Data retention
locdemunca.ro keeps personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including account operation, legal compliance, dispute resolution, safety, fraud prevention, and platform improvement. Candidates and employers can request account deletion at /account-deletion, subject to retention needed for law, security, fraud prevention, disputes, or payment records.
14. Employer access and logs
locdemunca.ro may keep logs about employer access to candidate profiles, applications, messages, and recruiting activity for security, compliance, fraud prevention, analytics, and dispute resolution.
15. International users
locdemunca.ro focuses on the Romanian market, but may support opportunities abroad for Romanian candidates. Candidate and employer data may be processed in countries other than the user's country of residence, with applicable safeguards.
16. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent, subject to applicable law.
17. Complaints
If you have complaints about how we process data, contact us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
